Gareck brings over 20 years’ experience in real estate finance. He joined Solutus in 2016 to lead the firm’s Special Servicing practice and was appointed Managing Director later that year. Before Solutus, he was a partner at Brookland Partners LLP, where he advised clients on more than €10bn of loan and bond restructurings.

He has also held senior roles at Deutsche Bank in London and Sydney, Macquarie Capital, and Fitch Ratings.

Neil brings over 30 years’ experience in real estate and real estate finance. He joined Solutus in 2015 to establish the servicing team in Chorley and went on to act as LPA Receiver on several high-profile defaulted CMBS loans. He has since been appointed Chief Operating Officer and main board director.

Before Solutus, Neil built the Corporate Recovery team at FI-Real Estate Management, where he served as joint LPA Receiver on large commercial real estate loans. Earlier in his career, he created the property management function overseeing a portfolio of public houses on behalf of RBS, helping facilitate their exit from the leisure market in a deal worth £137m.

Jocelyn brings over 19 years’ experience in finance. He joined Solutus in 2023 as Head of Servicing France. Before Solutus, he spent 11 years at Natixis, where he held a series of senior roles in real estate finance, including Head of Middle Office and Agency and Head of Business Management.

He also worked within the portfolio management division, overseeing non-financial risk supervision, financial monitoring, data quality, and cross-functional projects.

Michael brings over 14 years’ experience in commercial and corporate banking, alongside more than five years specialising in real estate finance.

He joined Solutus in 2018, channelling his expertise into loan management, and was appointed Head of Servicing (UK) in October 2023.

Before Solutus, he served as a Relationship Manager at Royal Bank of Scotland, managing a diverse portfolio of 40 commercial clients.

Hartwig brings over 19 years’ experience in real estate finance. He joined Solutus in November 2025 as Head of Servicing Germany.

Before Solutus, he began his career at LNR / Hatfield Philips, where he led the liquidation of complex NPL portfolios and CMBS transactions. He has also held roles at Drees & Sommer, DAL, and Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe.

Hartwig holds a law degree from the University of Cologne and qualified as a German lawyer in 2004.

Caroline joined Solutus in October 2023, bringing nearly a decade of experience in risk, compliance, and financial crime roles at FCA-regulated firms. Between 2019 and 2021, she completed the Advanced Certificate in AML and the International Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance with the International Compliance Association. She now leads the ongoing development and expansion of Solutus’ risk and assurance functions.

Emma-Jane joined Solutus in October 2024 to lead the legal function, with responsibility for all aspects of transaction management, governance, and corporate legal matters across the Solutus Group.

She joined from the banking team at Clyde & Co in London and brings a strong real estate finance background, having worked both in private practice and at Investec Bank.

Emma-Jane holds a law degree from the University of Liverpool and qualified as a solicitor in 2017.

Daren brings over 40 years’ experience in the banking and finance industry. He joined Solutus in 2017 as part of the loan management team and went on to establish a dedicated Loan Operations team, providing comprehensive servicing and administration support across the wider business. He was appointed Head of Loan Operations in 2019.

Before Solutus, Daren held a variety of roles at the Co-operative Bank. During the final ten years of his tenure, he served as Corporate Administration Manager, leading a team responsible for loan servicing across a multibillion-pound portfolio of bilateral and syndicated loans.
